Really hurts me to see how many people in this fandom, many of whom I know have commissioned art and claim to love their artists, are so willingly okay with misusing their work against their request to train AI to replace them.

If you truly love your artists, support them.

The arguement of "Posting art online automatically gives AI training tools" is a bullshit excuse to use AI.

Artist shouldn't have to worry about their art getting stolen to train AI because they shared it, whether it be by an app, or some furry with no respect for artists.

Reminder - Art copyright protects original works of a tangible medium, such as a painting or sculpture (something visual). This protection is automatic upon creation.

Copyright law applies to art you create of someone else's character because it is considered a "derivative work".

And don't anyone dare say that art is not a real job.

Anything that pays the bills is a real job, and as far as this fandom goes, art is the backbone of this fandom.

Art is a luxury, not a right, and us artists work VERY hard to earn the money we charge for it.

I get it. AI can do some really amazing things, but it isn't fair to the artists who pour their heart into their work.

Even worse when it is their income, and us artists are already having a hard enough time getting commissions, just to watch our work get replicated for free.

The issue isn't about the right to do what you want with the art you bought.

It's about how feeding art into an AI trains it to replicate the artist, and in turn makes it easier for people to get art in their style without paying them.

It’s disrespectful and amounts to theft.

If you use AI with art that you did not draw yourself, especially in order to recreate or improve on the work of another artist, you are being extremely disrespectful to the artist you claim to love so much.

If you truly love their work, SUPPORT them.

AI is theft!

Neat! Through diet and working out, my levels are completely normal as if I wasn't diabetic anymore (even though once you have it you always do).

They are not putting me back on meds, but he is having me do a Vitamin D supplement for 12 weeks cause I am low on that.

Had an amusement park employee tell me I couldn't set my (too tall) cup elsewhere, and then TURNED IT SIDEWAYS so it fit in the cubby above the one my bag was in, spilling it everywhere and dripping into the back of my bag...

Physics was not in the cards today apparently.
