A toddler was holding a glass bottle.
“Bể! Bể!” she said out loud.
Was it “ocean”—or “broken”—to her?
The answer was…Ocean.
Always Ocean.

Everything that was “broken”
drifts at sea.
All sharp edges
softened by the waves.
All shards will be
smoothly
carried to shore.

There’s no need to go hunting for other people’s sources of food or energy.
Go read Majjhima Nikāya Sutta 9. It’s not a secret.

Pattern Recognition,
honed too young.
I was surrounded by weak men
arrogant in their illusion
of moral height,
looking down on others
from crumbling ground.

Yet I am blessed
to have met true men too,
whose integrity is power,
the kind that lifts others
to higher perspective.

Someone had corrupted him
and taught him to fake loving me.
Then I saw a flock of ducks
their black eyes gleaming,

My hand reaches to the empty space beside me.

Collective liberation, awakened by that genocide.
He can’t hide his darkness from me.
