OH: our 8yo explaining the Great British Baking Show to two other 8yos... It's like FIFA, but the teams are just 1 person and instead of soccer they have to bake 3 things, and then one of them goes out.

so apparently the secret service was founded in 1865 specifically to investigate counterfeiting. Protecting presidents came later.

Unit test threw an error... but it wasn't the right error based on my understanding of the code. Investigated and found two different bugs. One that caused the initial error and another that caused the wrong error to fire.

Made apple spice bread for the start of fall. Spices include cinnamon, clove, allspice and ginger. Happy with how this came out because it's generally hard to work with fruits that leak water into the dough while it bakes. #bread

Insurance website url was updated. Their old page has the new link, but it's not a link, it's a <span> that is colored blue and underlined but is not clickable. I don't understand why. It redirects in 15 seconds using a one second JavaScript setInterval that runs for 15 iterations.

I once did a talk in Sweden about how our RUM service worked with SPAs which was very confusing because in Swedish, RUM service translates to "room service".
