There’s something special about the portable fighting games of that era. They may not have been perfect, but they scratched an itch that the Tiger Electronics handheld games couldn’t even dream of come close to. The Game Gear VR Troopers fighter was better than it had any business being.

I cannot stress how fucking idiotic it is to be console wars fanboying in 2025. The performance gap between the 3 platforms is narrower now than it has been for 2 decades, and 1 of the systems is a portable hybrid, which adds another element into the mix. Stop splitting hairs over FPS & resolutions.
