Been a while since a #retro post but I think the 'strad deserves a place. AMS introduced this arguably in the later stages of the 80s boom when sales elsewhere were declining. Sugar seemed to hit a sweet spot, combining all-in function with good graphics and sound. It sold 2m units.

Ealing half. Before and after. I don't think the 'after' quite conveys the difficulty this year. I was knackered. Just under 2h but nowhere near what I expected. Next year, more training, less eating b4, and maybe trainers that aren't falling to bits.

So one bucket list item for 2025 complete...writing a #SpaceInvaders game, lol. OK maybe not challenging to many but I've not really written any games before and figured I need to start somewhere simple(ish). Maybe try a version in Python next.

#Poker night. Final hand and wasn't looking good for the win when villain made a set of cowboys on the turn. Then the ten came making the nut straight. Game over, trophy retained for another month. A good night's work.

Great day out @heritagelive.bsky.social watching the PSBs and Scissor Sisters. Can never quite figure out why the journey takes so long from London given is only around 105m though? Roads the and back are fast enough but time slows down a soon as you hit Norfolk!
