I absolutely loved Picture Imperfect.

It felt so nostalgic to revisit characters from The Illustrated Mum, a book from my childhood, and to see where life has taken them.

Jacqueline Wilson captures that feeling of familiarity and emotional depth so well.

This has been on my TBR pile for ages, but I finally got around to reading it… and I absolutely loved it!

The twists felt fresh, and I loved how the story kept me guessing right until the end. Definitely a thriller I’ll be recommending.

I absolutely loved Raising Hare! Chloe Dalton’s memoir about rescuing and raising a wild leveret in the English countryside is utterly captivating.

If you love nature writing with heart and soul, this one’s a real treat.

I read this in anticipation of the new adult sequel, Picture Imperfect – and it instantly took me back to childhood.

It still has that trademark Wilson warmth – messy families, fierce loyalty and kids finding strength in difficult circumstances. A bittersweet, powerful read.

Had the loveliest day at the @womensprize.bsky.social yesterday – my first time attending and definitely not my last!

A real highlight was seeing Kate Mosse interview the amazing Bernardine Evaristo – such wisdom, humour and inspiration in one conversation.

And we even saw Queen Camilla!

This book was absolutely brilliant – I found myself reading late into the night, unable to put it down. The mystery is gripping, with a haunting atmosphere and richly drawn characters.
