You'll never be ready mate, it took me all of the first year without her to forgive myself. But looking at photos of her that year I know now we did the right thing. I knew it at the time too, but then i questioned it and felt like i could have done more... I couldn't have. It was her time.

Yesterday marked 2 years since my best friend had to cross the rainbow bridge (I'm mostly ok). The day after we buried her, it was suddenly very cold and raining, and definitely Autumn.
We always say she was holding back the bad weather!
Ok, now I need a hug.
