The cross country team have been working very hard on building up their fitness and stamina for our 1st comp next Tuesday. From laps round the school, running games in the Sunken Gardens and longer distances in the Nature Reserve we are ready for Callendar Park 💪 smiles all round 🤩#winning

P5/4M are learning how to blend watercolours to create beautiful butterflies. We used our knowledge of the colour wheel to use hot or cold colours for the wings and contrasting colours for the background. Great skill building in expressive arts 🎨🦋

P5/4M have been learning about their rights through UNCRC articles, Global Sustainable Goals and the Speak Up Smurfs campaign to promote children’s rights. We created fantastic posters to highlight the importance of children’s voices and the ABCDE of rights. Bravo P5/4M! Awesome work! 🤩👌🏻

We created a mind-map of our chosen habitat then used our ICT and teamwork skills to research information about different habitats. We explored what each environment would look like, plants and species found there and animal adaptations. Look out for our fabulous research posters coming soon! 🤩👏🏻
