Yeah, my long-distance friends are why I've stayed. Some of 'em go back to obscure platforms like OKCupid and Google+; FB is far from the best but it's where we all still go these days.

Just went through a similar thing over on FB. The Admin is making a social-media putsch, to salvage some relevance I guess.
