Happily they were cool guys, and after three Ubers bailed on us, we finally found a cool Lyft driver as well.

Made it to the airport and through TSA and to my gate with relative ease. So far, first flight seems to be on time. As yet, there is no plane at the gate. So we shall see.

Travel adventure so far includes three airport busses driving by my stop and refusing to let any more passengers on…bitching about bus issues with guy standing nearby…other guy joining in…and three strangers thus deciding to split a rideshare.

I keep telling myself I can be brave and leave my laptop behind for what is essentially a single day trip (I get in at 11PM and leave at 6AM Sunday, and at a con most of Saturday), but WHAT IF I have a bolt of inspiration at the airport? And I NEED it? And it isn't there???
