“Strike at the roots, not the branches.” At the intersection of people, data and politics. Using data to know them, love them, and work it better. Trouble. But good trouble. “Kooyongkoot”, Wurundjeri Land. (Hawthorn, Victoria, Australia.)

This burn is even hotter when you realise it’s from one of her constituents.
Redefining ‘Net Zero’
There’s a few places where it wouldn’t take a huge amount…

The current Opposition in the NT is 4 members, and there’s 3 independents

In the ACT the Opposition is currently 7 strong, and there’s 8 seats on the Crossbench

SA Liberals are on track to win 2 seats (total) at the next election.
Is it….

…camouflage? 😨
They’re more frustrated than anyone!
Just like his relationships, it’ll never get old
Coalition polling is now so low Leonardo DiCaprio is interested.
🦁 Not a dog. Actually a lion protecting kids trick-or-treating this weekend. 🎃

(I love the little leg pose 😂)
N’awww beautiful!

Do you have many dog friendly beaches there for summer? We have a few where we go with Sundae to cool off and read books under shades when it gets hot.
She’s beautiful, MT!

I’m out of the loop - how far back do I need to go to find the origin story?
Beautiful!

I went looking to see if this was part of a bigger piece, and found that it wasn’t but it had friends.

How did you stumble across her?
What do you think it will take, Liz?

I mean… if both major parties won’t do anything, who (if anyone) could possibly be the “coalition of the willing” that will force change on this?

Is it possible to elicit change even? Does it happen at the ballot box, or…?
Yeah good point

It’s getting increasingly difficult for the Liberals to hold onto the once strong Chinese and Indian communities
I suspect it’s speaking to recent chaos, infighting and disruption in the party - and although it’s an outlier, it’s a reflection of current sentiment.

The polling period would include Net Zero debates, cringe of Joy Division tees, anti-abortion stances, Joyce’s defection, Hastie’s jostling & more
Finally getting the recognition you deserve
If you don’t like seeing a rising hard-right vote, overcoming the disengagement divide requires people like you (and me) to get active.

Only @communityindeps.bsky.social has shifted votes from “Right” to “Progressive” at scale in 2022 and 2025 by being active & reframing the narrative to local

Coalition tanking to 24%, One Nation now at 15%

Votes aren’t swaying between left and right - but they are fleeing an inept Coalition for marginally more stable options on the harder right 😬

Keep in mind: if you’re reading this, you’re likely top 1% on political engagement.

Primaries.
😂

She does seem to attract puddles. Hope you have dried out too since last I saw you!
What is this crazy world we live in?!
It all got a bit much… too many pats out here, she retreated back under the table to nap at our feet.

It’s hard being pretty 😂
She had a latte art portrait last week!

A little abstract but delicious nonetheless.

Must sleep now. Early morning drive to rural Victoria for a planning day for state campaigns, and Sundae is going to stay over at her Uncle Mark’s.
You’re very kind 😇

Lovely to see you last night
Been a bit stretched lately. Haven’t been posting much there either.

More likely to find me organising inside @communityindeps.bsky.social (five events this week 😅)
That’s sudden and unexpected
Making YOU jump out of your skin?? Must be significant.

What’s going on?
