Oh, you're right there. I don't think they did either. The poor girl's wings were a mess when we got her. Regular vet visits, building her confidence, her trust in us, and making sure any area she is in is bird safe and under our supervision has been a priority. I hear you.

I appreciate your advice and I understand it is a debate in the community. I have a bachelors degree and have worked in wildlife rehab and education for years so I'm confident in my understanding, care, and abilities. Thank you for the advice, though. I appreciate the sentiment.

Oh my gosh, they're so beautiful!

Yeah, I asked the breeder not to but they did it anyway before they delivered her. I also asked for and paid for a boy but got a lady. Never going to them again, but I'm grateful I at least have this wonderful girl in my life. We have been working on her flying 😊

Only 7% of speech are the words we say. The rest is tone, body language, etc... on the internet you only have that 7% to go off. Misunderstandings abound. That's why it is so important not to keep rejecting and ignoring clarifications online.

That's why abusive people isolate their victim. People need to realize those that want to harm them are causing dissent on purpose because historically, it is when society bans together that real change takes place. When everyone's busy fighting each other instead they can do whatever.

The way people treat trafficking survivors is akin to watching an innocent person get jumped be a dozen people, seeing that person flatten them all on their asses, walk away proudly, and then we go "wow, that poor thing, they're so weak" when most could never do what they did. #endprejudice #stigma

A really common #stigma trafficking survivors face is people's refusal to believe they could ever #thrive or be #successful despite mountains of evidence they can and do. Recognizing part of your past doesn't mean you are in current crisis. This is how we #silence ppl so trafficking can continue.

Trafficking #survivors could be in #therapy for a decade, be extremely successful, and creating a wonderful life for themselves and people will still act like they've never even touched step one. Even if they're doing better in life than that person. This #prejudice needs to be recognized. #stigma

"Woke" just means to be aware of and have conversations what's happening around you. You can't be too knowledgeable. You can't have too many conversations. You can't be "too woke." Never let anyone convince you learning or awareness is wrong. Neither is caring about your fellow man.

Me neither, but I don't think people who find workarounds to kill and harm others indirectly like Kirk deserve to get away with it. He advocated for evil and it brought about evil consequences. Abusive people get away with it so much they forget the harm they advocate for can be done unto them too.

I genuinely think Trump hired an assassination on Kirk to distract from the Epstein files and to sow more dissent. It's a move that has been used throughout history numerous times and Trump has shown the lengths he will go to protect just his ego.

A couple days ago ppl on the right were raging at me about how important and positive violence is (ikr wtf) but when the abuser is the one on receiving end of violence it's suddenly "horrific"? No, you just realized doing evil things brings evil consequences & you don't like it.

Sometimes you have to fight back against your abusers. If you don't people see you as "weak". It's pro-abuse dogma to then blame those he harmed for the very death and cruelty he advocated for. Don't fight back? Your fault! Fight back? Your fault! He ADVOCATED for this.

I'm very anti-violence. I also am aware that if someone is beating on you and trying to kill you, it's probably the right call to protect yourself and others when a situation is that high stakes. Otherwise we all just die. He found a workaround to killing where he couldn't be arrested. Fuck abusers.

I think it is very telling that the guy who advocated for the deaths of thousands of innocents is someone people mourn more than all the people who died genuinely caring about others. I'll never forget the abuse towards the sick and suffering during Covid- the mockery of their deaths. Pro-abuse BS.
