![We are running an online study investigating 'perception of human and non-human primate faces'. The research is being run by researchers in Lincoln, UK, UC Davis, USA and UNSW, Australia.
We are looking for primatologist participants, including students and research assistants (+18 years old, fluent in English, experience with any non-human primate species but particularly macaque species, no face blindness) who can recognise and differentiate individual non-human primates they have worked with by their physical features including faces (this could be either with live non-human primates, through a video, or photos). The study uses validated human face images from established tests of face recognition. We have also added some images of non-human primates using the same methods.
You will be given an Amazon voucher for the equivalent of £10 GBP to compensate you for taking part. The study will take around 30 minutes to complete.
The research has been given ethical agreement from the University of Lincoln Ethics Committee [ref 19037].
