I'm not asking for any sympathy here, but here's a brutally honest life update. This year, I have had two identical procedures to remove lesions/growths. March results: all 4 benign, with monitoring. July, they found a new one (two at the time of removal). August results: pre-cancerous cells found.

I've been struggling with my emotions dor the past week. I feel unsure how to feel. Mostly just numb. I'm happy there is no cancer. I'm mad at my body for creating these bad cells. Hopefully, they won't return, but I have to plan that they will. And I don't think I'm ready for that.

I don't have cancer. I'm very happy about that. But that doesn't mean that the next time won't be different. What does that mean for me? More monitoring and most likely another biopsy in 6-12 months.

There's not a lot I can do about it either. Just be extra aware if I notice anything.
