I remember it being a big deal that we were getting a Simmons-Stanley cowrite, even if they'd simply Frankensteined two songs together.

A big deal, that is, until we actually heard the song. I'll be generous and give it two stars, because it's not awful – just eminently skippable.

I've always liked this one. Ace included it – no idea why – in the best show I ever saw him play, in 2008.

Objectively, it's probably only a three-star song at best, but I'm upping it to five because I love it and because a bit of positivity never hurts.

I saw 'em at Wembley in '96, which was pretty underwhelming; then again in '97, outdoors at Finsbury Park, which was much more entertaining and by far the best of the three makeup shows that I caught.

Foolishly, I didn't like Rage Against the Machine at the time and didn't watch their opening set.

Yes! If ever there was a song that epitomised Gene's habit of finding a dumb line and then writing the laziest possible vehicle to carry that line, this is it.

So while I loathe and detest Domino, this is probably his worst song because it has precisely zero lyrical or musical merit.
