I mean…maybe…but I feel like this is on a long enough time scale that a) we can opt out of it or b) the actuarial tables will get us before generations of genetic manipulation really show up
You’d think that after controlling the presidency, the House, the Senate along with the majority of governorships and state legislatures that and the rubber stamp of the Supreme Court that they wouldn’t see themselves as the ones suffering but alas, here we are
I usually work from home but there are stores I support in my area (not direct leadership) but now I show up just to interact with humans rather than sit home and doomscroll all day
Not saying one or the other is more important but race, religions and ethnicity have been discussed for generations while gender, gender identity and sexual orientation have only really entered mainstream discussion in our lifetimes
The facts were exaggerated, warped or completely omitted to reflect the emotional feelings of “this is ours for us and we don’t want anybody to change that for us”
Indeed - that’s the outwardly story, the real reason they were all so furious is that video games was a boys club and she didn’t belong. And her questioning their worldview probably made them think, look in the mirror and a brief moment of realization made them furious so they lashed back at her
