Outstanding article! Always enjoy the in-depth pieces on the evolution / history. We have a random switch to defense to fill a vacancy at Lafayette College in the mid-80s to thank for this greatness?! Wild!

New story. In his much-anticipated return, Xavier Worthy's speed, production & presence helped unlock the Chiefs offense.

"He's shown that he can be a guy that can do everything. This is the role we expected him to be in & he's showcased it today."

WR Worthy helps unlock Chiefs offense in return
After missing the past two games while recovering from a dislocated right shoulder, Xavier Worthy led the Chiefs in receiving and rushing yards Sunday against the Ravens as Kansas City scored its most...

They've had about 4 more injuries since the game started, too.

Ravens have too many injuries. 😣

This is pretty close to be a zipper game, based on the creativity shown today compared to the first three games.

Very mindful how Xavier Worthy slid after his 37-yard catch to protect his right shoulder.
bynatetaylor.bsky.social
That play is not designed for rookie Brashard Smith, who still got 17 yards by breaking multiple tacklers.

The Ravens go right down the field, scoring on a nifty inside screen from Lamar Jackson to Justice Hill for an 11-yard touchdown.

If you're wondering, Chris Jones -- who missed pregame returning from his aunt's funeral -- was the lone lineman to record a pressure on Jackson.

The Chiefs won the toss. You know what happened next.

Here are the Chiefs’ inactive players for today’s game against the Ravens -- Mike Danna (left hip), Kristian Fulton (left ankle), Elijah Mitchell, Jared Wiley, Jason Brownlee, Hunter Nourzad & Brodric Martin.

As expected, Xavier Worthy (right shoulder) is back in the lineup.

Remember the Super Bowl, when the Eagles sacked Patrick Mahomes 6 times despite never blitzing?

Well, Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio has already blitzed Mahomes on 4 of his 10 dropbacks, leading to a 3rd-down sack.

Harrison Butker is good from 56 yards. Eagles up 7-3.
