It really feels like way more time was intended to be spent with Dallas, and for whatever reason the NHL killed that part, so they were left scraping the bottom of the barrel and you get things like William Nylander walking around a high-end furniture store for 7 minutes set to talking heads

I really can't overstate enough how much of a failure season 2 of the NHL Amazon series is. The Gaudreau episode was well done, but beyond that there's very little to like here. Would love to understand how this even got made, because it's shocking how little original footage is even in this thing.

Yeah, would prefer they commit and work through it and live with the results. Think they have the personnel for it, which maybe wasn't true in the past. And the upside for it was pretty visible last night, at least in the first half of the game.
