New girls in the #CallissChookChateau, #Bella & #Ringo are in training to be friendly chooks. I visit them every day for a chat & some treats but it will take a while yet. They are getting a bit more colour in their combs & wattles which is good.

We had a Greek family near us who we were all very fond of. I remember they had a piggery & a pet cockatoo. I went to high school with their youngest daughter; we haven’t seen each other in about 15 years but when we do I know it’ll be like no time at all has passed 🥰
