It's the only logical spot for the scene. Instead they decided to start the Q scenes with Ned in the foyer looking at pictures and having a Monica flashback and then Olivia/BLQ/Chase/Dante/Tracy joining him before they left for the church, which was the right choice. Sometimes scenes just don't fit
