I have to get the garlic in this week, if at all possible. That means finishing prepping 2 beds and then tackling all the rest and getting them ready for winter and next spring.

I moved all the herbs to a new bed yesterday. I hope they like it. 😬 If it works, I have room for annuals next spring. 🌱

Long weekend, and I didn't get half my to do list done. Today has been an awful pain day, and I only got the new sourdough starter fed and a loaf baked. I mixed up the sourdough pancake batter, but my husband made dinner.

I overdid it in the garden yesterday and still have so much to do there. 🌱

I haven't felt like coming up with my own design in ages until I saw this Cautiva yarn from Spain in the yarn shop by my daughter's home. Hopefully, these mitts will turn out okay. #knitting

Thankfully, I have a copy of Ann Budd's Handy Book of Patterns. It's the best! Worth every penny.

On top of my lap covered by a pink and blue afghan I got at an estate sale for a pittance (shame, for the crocheter did an amazing job), my graph paper, black Moleskine, and knitting on top of that.

The graph paper has writing on it and then a graph of a duck on top of waves. The knitting is dark and light teal with the dark teal ribbing and then a dark teal, light teal Latvian braid on white Bryspun dpns.

Can't sleep from pain, but we've so very badly needed this rain.

The flock is up and upset this morning. Well, Squeaker is upset. The rest have calmed down a bit after all getting through the fence and heading out to forage, leaving Squeaker behind.

Poor Squeaker. I can't get to her yet.
