I still don’t understand why she can’t take her seat until Johnson swears her in. Why can’t Jeffries do the deed? Where does it say in the Constitution or House Rules that only the speaker of the house has the authority to swear in new members?

The goal is to win the Senate seat. I don’t care how old (or how young) the candidate. If she/he is the person most likely to win then that person is the best candidate regardless of age.

I’d like to see democrats stop saying “Why doesn’t Trump want the Epstein files released” and instead state the obvious. “Trump won’t release the Epstein files because fucks kids and he is featured in the Epstein files”.
