We get letters which are obviously parking penalties for someone who has never lived here. Several of them a week. We give them back to the postman who takes them good-naturedly, but I’m not sure how we’ll deal with the eventual court summons

Jeans go on a hanger straight out of the washing machine. Pull into shape while damp. Quilt covers crease as soon as you get into bed so no point ironing those!

Just water and some honey. I add a few spices (saffron, cardamom, ginger and star anise this time). They are delicious warm, and also cold from the fridge. And they freeze. Sometimes I use vanilla syrup instead of honey, and I plan to try maple syrup
