⏳ On Friday 10 Oct 2025, we buried a Time Capsule to mark 100 years of Carrick Academy at our current site.

It was buried by our school captains and included items such as staff photos, newspapers, option forms & school ties.

All pupils represented the school brilliantly 👏

🔧 Yesterday, our pupils took part in the Rotary Club of Ayr Engineering Competition at Belmont Academy.

🏆 Our senior team (Amara, Leonie, Lara & Aiden) won their category – an incredible result for an all-S4 team competing against S5/6s!

👩‍🎓👨‍🎓 Yesterday, 3 of our school captains attended the DYW Leadership Lunch at the Brig O' Doon as part of Ayrshire Chamber’s Business Week.

They heard from inspiring speakers including Billy Bowie & David Smith, gaining insight and confidence as young leaders

➗ Yesterday our S3 & S4 pupils took part in the Enterprise Maths Challenge Qualifier at Belmont Academy.

👏 They were fantastic ambassadors for Carrick, tackling problem solving, practical challenges and a maths relay, finishing 5th overall!
