Yeah, 1964 best describes the time civil rights came into being and pissed off Dixiecrats left the Democratic Party, to join the Republican Party. Reagan understood this and played it up. He is no different from Charlie Kirk, and just cosplayed a nice old man with racist dog whistles.

Yeah, he broke up the Robber Barons who had oil/railroads monopolies. He’d have no issue doing the same with today’s oligarchs swearing alliance to their money!

Many thanks for the beautiful clarification. I’d never heard of Charlie Kirk before his murder and did a deep dive into his speeches. Hateful, petty bullying and un-Christ like best describes them. He was not a good guy.
