It's come to our attention that SNAP benefits may not be issued next month, and a lot of local families will likely feel that impact. For parents already doing their best to juggle everything, even small changes can make a big difference when it comes to keeping kids fed.

Back during COVID, we offered free kids' meals to help families get through a tough time, and it feels like the right thing to do again. Starting November 1, kids can stop by and get a Classic Starter Hotdog on us.

This isn't about picking sides. It's about people. It's about our kids, our neighbors, and our community. No child should ever go hungry, and if we can do a small part to help, we're proud to do it.

Or that almost 40% of SNAP recipients are children?

And that Whites account for 37% of SNAP recipients?

We can add #USAToday to the list of "news" organizations which downplay the behavior of the UnPresidential President. This is their headline concerning the "dumping shit" video, with no mention of that aspect at all. Wouldn't want to upset the right. Imagine if Biden released that video.

Not unlike the guys selling cactii and ocotillos off flatbed trailers along 528 and elsewhere in the 505. Undoubtably poaching them off public lands and unguarded private lands. Plants which have no chance of surviving in this area.

Say hello to my little friends. Hot little frens, Bahamian Goat Peppers from my planter patch. I can attest to their spiciness.

Two orange habanero-ish Bahamian Goat Peppers nestle in a man's hand. Green stems, and not quite as pumpkin-like as some. They are the size of a big radish, or a deflated ping-pong ball, and pack a punch (about 250k Scoville).

I heard the same thing when I was shopping this afternoon, so I got a donut for each of us. To quell all the loose talk and gossip. Then I realized you weren't there, so I had to eat both donuts. They had Democracy Sprinkles with maple frosting.

It seems plausible that the reason AI is being pushed so stridently, and the data centers / complexes needed to expand, is for the surveillance state. "Making our lives easier" has never been the goal.

Just an update: I just got done settling my 16th war, brought drug prices down 3000%, invented the word "grocery", aced my cognition test (Pie are squared. No, cornbread are squared. Pie are round). And, wrote the Bible! Also, income from tariffs now at $800 trillion.

Concerning TikTok: as if I trusted the Chinese government, at this point I trust the Trump admin & their tech buddies even less. Any TikTok video, embedded in a social post, will basically be opening the door for them to surveil. I'm sure lots of midnight oil is being burnt to craft the "new algo".
