Rephrasing for clarity, but please do not use F&F (even blank ones) for commission payments; this is and ALWAYS HAS BEEN against ToS.

If you're getting paid for a service, use invoices.

F&F has no protections in place, especially for buyers, and using it to bypass fees is, again, against site ToS.

If there was supposed to be some nuance to their relationship like emotionnal attachement or something, the telling part isn't even there 😭
If yes, It's crazy how BC still managed to give him a far more nuanced relationship w/ the Turks in comparison but w/ far less ressources.

That I agree.
Rebirth made it look like that there might have been some bonding between the two from the way Rufus react to him but the way they wrote the event is completely half-assed, to the point you wonder if it was intentionnal or not.
Even Glenn's death & the way it was set up is lacklustre.

Their relationship wa straightforward & has no development or nuance beyond that so unless it wasn't the intent, it's not a surprise that Rufus, who is still self-serving & has his own goal, would get rid of someone who could be a liability to him & that he has no particular attachment to.

Something we haven't seen yet in the comp is Rufus deciding to stop & seal the reactors & I wonder if it's what gonna happen in part 3 bcos he isn't gonna want a war in his hands w/ meteor coming & need to do some concessions with Wutaï so he can move Sister Ray to Midgar?

one thing that make the whole thing funnier is that it just confirm that the Turks are Rufus' favorite ppl.
He's willing to throw away a long term associates like Glenn but is fine getting geostigma torture bcos he refuse to swear on the heads of Elena & Tseng

love when there's hints here & there abt how Glenn could have been one of the few ppl who managed to get a bit Rufus from the way he reacts to him in rebirth & ultimania t & then when you see their story, there's barely anything abt it lol

I think it's also due to how under-developped their relationship was. There's nothing emotionnal about it. We don't learn things abt the characters we already know. There's no character developpment or bonding. It's just there.
He's just a plot device & nothing beyond that.

I think one of the funniest thing about Glenn getting played is that he was well aware from the start whose type of person Rufus was since he acknowledged himself that their alliance was based on mistrust & betrayal, which make it hard for me to feel bad for him.

weird timeline mess again, Rufus learning about his father's death during the travel in helicopter with Glenn when he shouldn't even know about it until he get to Shinra HQ since only the main party was present to witness it.
& its immediately followed w/ his boss fight.
