OK, after a stupidly long time calculating, my Dance-Off prediction this week is:

Balvinder & Julian eliminated against Ellie & Vito.

I will say my calculations revealed a 3-way tie at the bottom (originally 4 but then I realised I made a mistake) so there are other ways this can go.

Last week, the 2nd and 5th placed couples on the leaderboard were in the dance-off. If you do not vote, your favourite couple will not be going through to next week. It's that simple. So VOTE. #Strictly

Amber & Nikita - Vienesse Waltz

Nikita is unfortunately an extremely adorable big bad wolf. That said, the characterisation was perfect this week, and an amazing performance.

Alex & Johannes - Salsa

I felt it was a little bit restrained in places. But only in a minor way and frankly I don't give a damn, Alex's ability is enough to get her TO THE FINAL!

Karen & Carlos - Argentine Tango

Carlos should NEVER be benched again. That choreography was phenomenal. It showcased and challenged Karen's abilities in equal measure and she more than met that challenge. It was very clearly their best dance yet. Fantastic.

Harry & Karen - American Smooth

Unfortunately 1 lift was in fact clunky, also I'm not quite sure what that ending was tbh. However Harry has turned himself into a graceful ballroom dancer.

Balvinder & Julian - Rumba

Well after all that focus on the legs I felt it was the arms that were the problem! But for the difficult challenge that the Rumba poses, this was dealt with admirably.

Lewis & Katya - Couple's Choice

Nice to have a positive Couple's Choice story. Also, Radiohead but Jazz? I'm finding other things to say because I can't find much to say about the dance. Perhaps the one fault is that the energy is not applicable to the other dances.

La Voix & Aljaz - Paso Doble

I felt the start was a little light on the feet for my liking, also the jump in hold wasn't synchronised. However, this was dramatic, it was powerful, and I LOVED it.

George & Alexis - Cha Cha Cha

I find it hard to consider high marks when a sizeable chunk of the stsrt was just George kneeling while Alexis did her thing. And then another part at the end that was more acting than dancing. What was danced was great, there just wasn't enough.

Ellie & Vito - Tango

Vito does not look scary. Regarding the dance, unfortunately there was A LOT wrong tonight. Major sync issues in the middle and the footwork was extremely messy in hold. Loved the energy though.

Vicky & Kai - American Smooth

Apologies for the lack of previous post at the start of the show, my Chinese arrived at exactly the wrong moment. Anyway, I wonder if there was a wrong foot at one point because there was a transition that just suddenly jolted and bounced.

So it's farewell Jimmy & Lauren. It will be of little consolation that this elimination is absolutely not deserved, I think the public got ot wrong to put you in the dance-off and then the judges saved the wrong couple. However what better way to go out than doing Prince justice out there. #Strictly

Neither of these even remotely deserve to be in the dance-off, but the public have spoken. It is icons week, and I personally would vote to save the couple who performed like the icon they were representing, and that was Jimmy & Lauren. #Strictly
