Like I think specific consent and check-ins are sexy as hell. Doesn't mean they wouldn't still be essential if i didnt

Fun moment today. Had one of the 'think theyre reasonable' transphobes tell me he was totally ok with people who were genuinely mentally ill, his problem was the innocent kids that were influenced by celebrities.....

Tbh not an uncalculated move on labours part.

They know a great deal of the public are idiots and think austerity = tory, not austerity = labour, and don't actually look much at what anyone is doing.

Trying to make reform sound like the tories isn't a bad political move, however hypocritical

I've been pondering her behaviour the last couple days, cause it annoys me when I can't figure out the grift.

I think it honestly might just be good old fashion hubris, first that she'd be some pioneering peacemaker with the far right, then that she'd be welcomed back with open arms for trying.

My concern is the future medical students that are chatGPTing theory work and then have to go on to the practical....surely given the relative timeline of the rise of AI, that's got to hit shortly.

Something thats very unsung on the performances of the kids is actually Bill's performance, IT isn't making him frightened, its pissing him off. Its a shame the movie doesn't trust the performance and lampshades that fact.

Thinking IT just went easy is poor media literacy. Just my 2c

Believing itself immortal it probably wanted to lock in on what genuinely scared them before eating them, IT had time after all.

By the time they're adults IT seems to have gotten much closer to their actual fears.

Also, as a note I'm referring to the movie here, not the book.

The thing is IT didn't though, IT just didn't know what frightened them.

For all its cunning, IT relies on some very basic stuff for fear at times, and never really locked onto what actually scared these kids, fear of being outcasts.
