Turning 50 in 2025. Chapel-en-le-Frith Morris - probably the most hyphenated morris side in the world. We welcome anyone (even those without hyphenated surnames) to join us as dancers and/or musicians.

2013. We went to Leek Morris Day of Dance in May but dancing was abandoned because of torrential rain. Perhaps a premonition of Leek Morris at a watery Buxton DoD 10 years later in 2023. #CM50 buff.ly/4a47FG3
#DeclanDonnelly born on 25 Sep 1975. We were full of talent in 1975 #CM50

2009. Jim's 80th birthday and we surprised him by appearing at his birthday meal at The Beehive in May. In September we went back to Gorton Rushcart, just 24 years after first attending in 1985 #CM50 buff.ly/4a47FG3
2008. Another treat for railway enthusiasts on the Churnet Valley steam train with Powederkegs and Boggarts Breakfast. Sad end to the year dancing at Alex Needham's (ex squire) funeral just before Christmas. #CM50 buff.ly/4a47FG3

2005. Somehow we got booked for a Scottish millionaire's English wife's birthday in Edinburgh. We waited for our cue (the piper to stop playing) before emerging to perform in front of the pink dressed guests. Other celebrities booked to perform were the Bay City Rollers! #CM50 buff.ly/4a47FG3
2004. Buxton Day of Dance was getting bigger with 12 visiting sides this year. At our Christmas meal Squire Ged presented a tankard to Randall Dawson for being our stalwart musician from 1976 through to 2004. #CM50 buff.ly/4a47FG3
2003. A couple of feasts (Lichfield and Stafford) to start the year. However, although most of the years was sunny, for possibly the first time ever it was too wet to dance on our Morris Monday at the Miners' Arms at Eyam. #CM50 buff.ly/4a47FG3
#ApolloSoyuzHandshake historic handshake 17 July 1975. We were getting into orbit in 1975. #CM50
2002. Even more 'F's at the fabulous Four Fools Folk Festival at Chorley. Some very funny (but edgy) announcing banter from Squire, Julian, comparing a fellow announcer to a rather infamous doctor. #CM50 buff.ly/4a47FG3
2001. Foot and Mouth outbreak meant we had to dance on the road at May Day, not on Eccles Pike. Boars Head Morris's Spring Tour meant dancing at the magnificent Piece Hall and an evening in Bradford's gas lit New Beehive Inn, with an Indian restaurant next door. Heaven. #CM50 buff.ly/4a47FG3
2000. We made it to 25 years. A fantastic year of cameraderie, dancing and generally 'pissing about'. Our Weekend of Dance, based at Youlgreave Village Hall brought it all together. Thank you Morris. #CM50 buff.ly/4a47FG3
