Hey, I've been there. In a pretty similar situation with my own mother, honestly. It's a soul sucking feeling when the people around you are actively putting you down and invalidating you. But.
It does get better. I know you're probably so sick of hearing that but it gets better!! Just hold on

The main premise was a convo I had with a friend that essentially was like,,,Angel Dust already thinks so lowly of himself, if he ever met Sir Pentious in his redeemed state, he would be caught in this thought that he’s no longer good enough to even be around his friend anymore
