Great work in Punjabi language studies is on its way after Alyssa Ayres. "Paindoo: Punjabi as an Accent" by Prof. Iqra Cheema @cheema.bsky.social is a really promising start to what I hope will be a broader project on language, class, politics, and aesthetics.
