Trump: "You're talking about the Pennsylvania Dutch, or you were talking about the Amish, where they don't take any of this stuff and they have virtually no autism."
It’s unfortunate, because those who will suffer have been effectively brainwashed to believe in the system that created the inevitable crisis. It’s also true that many had access to the truth and simply ignored it, and/or delighted in the suffering of innocent Ukrainians.
Kristi Noem: "I was in Portland and met with the governor and mayor and chief of police and superintendent of the highway patrol. They are all lying and disingenuous and dishonest people. Because as soon as you leave the room, then they make the exact opposite response."

I didn’t love Pritzker when he was elected, but he won me over with the way he has governed Illinois- particularly making tough choices and leading the state’s fiscal recovery from a disastrous Republican governor.
I agree, but think it takes perestroika-level impact on russian society for any significant fallout to occur. Putin spent the last 25 years telling russians that everything bad that happens is the fault of the evil West and only he can protect them. Only a crisis can show it was all an illusion.
