Just make it exist first, you can make it good later.
the original idea for my game mirrors came from 5 years ago from a week long game jam. I then worked on other projects and then one day decided
"hey this idea was really cool lets work further on it!"

that's the best part, u love the mechanic so much u decide not to add the speed cap!!
