More cutting these guys off. All they do is filibuster you just have to cut them off. I know it. It’s all about access but if all they’re doing is talking bullshit the whole time then we don’t need it. You need all the other stations to do the same thing.

Oh man, I feel you. I’m retired, but my captain just sent me a picture of my persistent bug bear — the monorail crane controller. Of course in the pic there were jumpers and spent fuses laying on the deck. Various tools. I kind of laughed, but I spent half my life in there. It felt like.

‘What’s that burning smell?’

I haven’t been to mass probably since I was 22. My mother was hard done by by the priests. She worked at a Catholic university. It wasn’t anything sexual. It was just a total male hierarchy. Women were excluded and overlooked. They still have a ways to go with me. But this is a good start.

I like the cut of this guy’s jib.

Pope Leo quotes Hannah Arendt:

“The ideal subject of totalitarian rule is not the convinced Nazi or the convinced Communist, but people for whom the distinction between fact and fiction and the distinction between true and false no longer exist."

Pope Leo XIV has encouraged international news agencies to stand firm as a bulwark against the "ancient art of lying" and manipulation.

NYT, 1943: “Eichmann train efficiencies hampered by accusations of impropriety”

Sure, I get it. But they should also understand the political pluses and minuses involved here. They usually seem pretty adapt at protecting their jobs.

I don’t understand why they don’t just give in and extend the subsidies. I mean what’s in it for them by doubling people’s healthcare cost?
chiefjoer.bsky.social
Do we have a single reporter in America who will say you voted to end the subsidies?
chiefjoer.bsky.social
We needed to use that for us after January 6. We are such pussies when it comes to this shit. I would’ve brought the hammer down on these fuckers. They would be in some prison in the Aleutian Islands right now.

Send some drones to buzz them they'll run like rabbits. Then say 'oh those weren't ours'
chiefjoer.bsky.social
Send drones over them. Just say those? those aren't our drones.

I mean, on the one hand, if you are directed by Trump not to allow Epstein at any cost, you do it.
On the other hand, if it's that f'n bad, don't you want to be first one in the lifeboats?
chiefjoer.bsky.social
It's like Belichick, they just love the juice.

Why do I sense Tom Nichols, former hack license no. 34333, looking down and saying, 'Don't take Storrow Drive. Mistake.'
chiefjoer.bsky.social
Mm. Barely. I'd say they have held back from punishing anyone because they knew that it wouldn't happen. Where's the punishment?
chiefjoer.bsky.social
My sense is that Stephen is too 'front and center' for Trump. He's in the limelight a lot lately. And you know who doesn't like other people in his limelight. He'll be gone by January.
wajali.bsky.social
Huge mistake by Trump to let the 4'10 freak Stephen Miller take center stage during his Presidency. The more people hear and see from Mini Himmler the more they are repulsed. Plus the ICE raids are horrific and inhumane.

I have 38 crimes listed on my list and my list only started from Sep 24.

'Is anybody with me! Ok I see Slovakia, go Slovakia, yes! Who else. Do I see Czech? Come on, Czech, let's go! It will be 3! How many we need?'
chiefjoer.bsky.social
It's a requirement. And an enforcement mechanism is required that doesn't depend on the executive branch. States should be able to bring prosecutions of the Hatch Act.
chiefjoer.bsky.social
If there is no penalty for a rule being broken, then there is no rule. The hatch act is not a rule.
chiefjoer.bsky.social
Yes it is. And it’s why Pritzker should send 200 troops down to Amarillo and see how they like it.
chiefjoer.bsky.social
Do you think that Abbott would accept Pritzker sending troops to Texas? I don’t know, but I just get the sense that Democrats are fucking pussies.
chiefjoer.bsky.social
Yeah, well I got on flight and there was plenty of room in the overheads and they had made me check my bag and then the whole system was broken when I deplaned at LaGuardia and I had to wait 15 minutes. As usual, nobody knew what the fuck was going on.
