I am a pediatrician who will never forget the grief of the mother whose infant died of pertussis over 30 years ago when I was a resident. With RFK Jr's dismissal of the ACIP members I fear we will see many more infants die of vaccine preventable diseases.

Yes. Early experiences of shame and humiliation can underlie the acts of revenge and cruelty we are witnessing. I regularly share this perspective with my representatives in my daily calls. I encourage others in the US to do the same

The infant-caregiver relationship is the prototype of two people getting to know each other. In this messy moment-by-moment process their relationship grows and changes.
