Not just that, but Trump's Gestapo would be tied under a different justice system than members of the military would be. Civilian law enforcement can only be prosecuted in a jury trial by the DOJ. A member of the military can be prosecuted in both, a DOJ jury trial and a JAG military tribunal.

I know, but I was talking about hurt or killed by the military. Trumps brown shirt Gestapo will all eventually be held accountable by a different court.

But they should think twice about how loyal they remain to that fascist fuckwad in the White House because they won't be able to use the "I was just following orders" defense at Nuremberg 2.0 if they follow Trumps orders and innocent Americans get hurt or die as a direct result of those orders.

Yes, I did misread your previous post & I mistakenly took it as all the officers when we were actually talking about the same thing. And you're right, it's the very top brass, aka. Trump loyalists who need to remember their oath, but I really don't have faith in that with the whole Mike Flynn thing

No, I have to disagree with you on that. Sure, Trump replaced the very top generals & admirals with his loyalists. But I'm betting that between 75 & 85% of top military brass are loyal to their oath and the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Specifically Article 92 which was created bcs of Nuremberg

Sadly I think we're going to have to have American Revolution 2.0 before Reconstruction 2.0 can ever happen. Unfortunately, Dems have zero power in any of the 3 branches and MAGA Republicans I don't believe will ever cede their power to Democrats again.

Exactly, and I truly don't see a scenario that plays out without some sort of conflict. Mass peaceful protests are very important to shine a light on all this on the world stage. But I can not vision them being a solution to Trump because MAGA GOP aren't acting fearful of losing their jobs.

Judging from the reception given by the top military brass at Hegseth and Trump's little gathering in Quantico, I do believe that most of them will refuse Trumps illegal orders to go to war against American cities. They truly may be our very last guardrail against this fascist regime.
