I don't imagine I'll have much of that, my family's been supportive, and I was never a fragile twig.

For me the family bits that have hit have been about how Clay feels towards Maxine, and the stuff that happened before the book starts

For those of you familiar, I have begun reading 'The Cheerleader Story' and it is hitting far, far harder than Dorley did.

I think because we're getting to see a young woman realize and accept (however improbably) that she's trans, with all the turmoil that often accompanies that revelation.

I do gel, so it's usually pretty durable, but this color has just been absolute trash.
