Worse. There are 4 varieties of peanuts: Spanish, Valencia, Virginia, and Runners. The book explains how they went to the cheapest variety and the flavor deteriorated.
Just like what happened with coffee when producers started substituting Robusta for Arabica beans.

I'll say it one more time:
THE STATE ADJUTANT GENERAL IS A STATE APPOINTED POSITION. THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN REMOVE HIM IS THE GOVERNOR.
As to the troops, they are Title 10 for now, but when their tour ends, they revert BACK to State control.

Without Congressional approval this is illegal. Maybe there is an ongoing exception but Congress is not in session to approve one.

Short attention span or shiny object syndrome. Some have selective amnesia like the ones talking about the "good ole days" in the 50s and 60s but selectively forget the income tax rates then. Or the pollution, etc etc
