Chopper pulled against her grasp the whole time, tearfully screaming out at the thought of her using him for something harmful and cruel.

"No no no! Cut it out! I meant like an assistant or lab partner!!!" He hoped he wouldn't have to fight his way to safety.

Ignoring the fact that Chopper had just revealed himself capable of understanding animals, the reindeer seemed helpful enough to get Ryoga back, though rather than Akane, the only one who matched the pig's description of beautiful girl was Ranma. Chopper had to make do despite the pig's squirming.

Chopper felt a little awkward having approached in such a way that could have come across as impolite, but the small doctor held a black piglet with a bandaid on the side of its head out toward the redhead.

"He says he belonged here so I parched him up and took him home. This is yours, right?"

Chopper, with the same big smile on his face, took a half-step closer to the alien with sparkling eyes. It seemed he already forgot that this was the demon he was so on edge about.

"You think I'm cute? You like me? Does this mean we can be friends!?"

His small body excitedly shook at the idea.

It was difficult to stay mad. Chopper's cheeks were still red as he felt the excitement from being praised. Chopper was originally a boy of little happiness. Anyone who approached him with an open heart had instantly won him over just for looking past his monstrous abnormalities.

Sadly, despite having truly been overjoyed by her halfhearted compliment, his autistic defense mechanism brought about by years of abuse was almost certain to anger her. As he happily swayed back and forth, he could only imagine how his joyous words might've offended her.

Suddenly, Chopper's body stopped on a dime as though he were in a trance. The reindeer's cheeks flushed pink as his eyes sparkled a bit. Was she just complimenting him? Swaying back and forth in a little dance, the pirate cooed in a sing-song voice. "Calling me cute won't make me happy, you jerk~!"

Smelling another follower, Chopper quickly turned to confront the newcomer, shooting a harsh glare their way to let them know he wasn't to be messed with.
