Honestly, i think this is another knock on impact from the monsterfication of truck and some SUVs. Even is the headlights are correctly aligned, they are next to 7 feet off the ground.
Like maybe its return on investment - a dollar into authoritarians has higher short term returns (immediate benefits, long term costs offloaded) than a dollar into democracies (better long term, but not direct).
And I still think its an anomaly that Dems seem to disproportionately suck in this regard. I dont think its some vast conspiratorial machination, but there is clearly some systemic issue.
No, i will think that because Schumer caved at the one point where he had a modicum of power - the first government shutdown fight. Hes welcome prove me wrong, but has lost the benefit of my doubt.
I mean, that seems like a useful skill for most if not all people. Like if your political leaders constantly take the expedient path, they will eventually undermine their core values.
Honestly, if you are looking for clueless dum dums, they probably aren't posting in bsky - they're doing normal stuff. We're the weird, way too online freaks.
Me posting isn't going to sway anyone. Im not part of some messaging war.
Can you figure out what you're mad about here, and stick to it? First its my "lens", now it's my "opinion which isn't an opinion".
I don't think Schumer and Jeffries have shown the needed willingness to take hard stands. Their prior performance is why. I would be happy to be proven wrong here!
Its not a lens? I dont think national dems are doing a good job - which in turn makes me concerned they will keep fumbling in response to Trump. Its costing us.
