Spare me from the light ---- A miserable little pile of secrets/Him

Strange Harvest is a bit clumsy and drags a little in the middle, but successfully feels like a modern crime documentary with horror movie things happening in it. Some genuinely unsettling moments.
Savageland is quite something. I had always heard good things about it but it wasn't at all what I was expecting. A brilliant take on the format, chilling visuals, and oh boy does it still resonate. Fantastic, in my personal opinion.
The first Horror in the High Desert reminded me a little of Lake Mungo in its pacing and restraint. Final sequence is way tense. Its sequels have some of the most tense found footage bits I've seen and I am interested in where it's going, but I wouldn't blame anyone put off by the finale of part 3.
Had a sort of impromptu themed weekend of spookers in that I watched 4 mockumentary style found footage horror movies set in the desert. I watched the 3 Horror in the High Desert films as well as Savageland. I also watched Strange Harvest last week, which is another mockumentary.
Always love a trip to HellsGate.

I have the Motley Crue Greatest Hits disc! Also Load and Reload. Never got into Manson enough to buy the CDs despite me being the right age and personality for them.
If I was better at things I would edit headphones on their heads and dolls in the crooks of their arms, but the idea is there!

RIP to Drew Struzan, creator of some of the best poster art that film has ever seen.

Just watched it and can confirm that "Home Haunt" is a banger. The rest was definitely a mixed bag, I would say "Fun Size" was my 2nd favorite. Also a lot of it just didn't feel Halloween enough. "Home Haunt" all day, though, I wish we had more of it.
I like this a whole lot.
I'm a simple man. I see Demeter cast, I take Demeter cast. #Hades #Hades2
I liked Weapons a lot but regardless of anything I would love to see your horror on the screen. "Curious Little Thing" remains one of my favorite horror short stories.
Very ridiculous that I have to be at work while the House of Hades and the gods of Olympus need me.
