Wait is there an automated way with a professional rail system?
First game one of my kids watched at all. Don't think it'll make them a fan, but it's a hell of a way to start.
The sound of that was so clean, didn't have to look
I run this Level 1 Techs KVM (well, the USB-C version instead of USB-B), rock solid, works great, only one I could find that work with a 4K 144Hz displays. Very glad that someone is making this product for me.
I'm not in Maine, I'm just donating to candidates this cycle that are running against people that should 100% be retired at their age. I just don't understand why people have to cling to their priors so badly after they learn something new, that's why you learn!
A couple weeks ago almost gave money to him because I didn’t want to elect a 77 year old. New info came out so i reconsidered my position and would not give him money. It’s not hard to adjust your views when you learn something new!
This feels like a "Hate the sin, love the sin-ger" situation.
Here they are with alt-text if you want people to copy them easier.
I, too, was also totally fine with legalizing gambling because it seemed ridiculous to be confined to certain states when you could easily do it online with offshore places. Yeah, that was a big mistake.
As someone that just flew back from Portland it was absolutely pouring today and they’re still out there.
We’re trying to explain this to our 15yo who has never driven a real car and sucks at video games driving.
Store Champs are almost always crickets because it's standard and the prizes are bad. When it was for a textless Urza's Saga they all capped out (SF Bay Area) and people were driving to multiple in a day. It's so easy.
First Rated R movie I took my oldest (15) to, though he did watch Oppenheimer at home the other year. He highly enjoyed it as well.
Something he saw on TV that was actually video from 2020 and not 2025 as well.
25ish miles later. Now for a run before the movie.
Even more hyped now. Oldest kid has never watched a film like this before, will be interesting to see what he thinks.
Midwife and the Baker continues to be a favorite. It's a fun habit, pick up a loaf of bread for the week and some pastries for everyone, maybe a coffee if I want a break before biking back. Lets me see lots of the area that I don't know as well.
Taking the oldest kid to One Battle After Another. Will bike ~30 miles to a new bakery each morning, my new weekend habit the past 2-3 months.
I think it would be great if my kids (HS, MS currently) had to spend a couple years doing something for national service before college. Get to know themselves and others better, figure out what they want to do, and a much needed break from school as well.
Took rowing classes this summer, want to do it once the kids school schedule allows.
One time TCL forgot to mention an embargo to me, so I live-Tweeted my measurements and calibrations of their new TV and then had to take it all down a few hours later when they emailed me and let me know they forgot to tell me.
The message filtering in iOS 26 has been very helpful here
We had that same penguin growing up as well, no idea where it is now
I remember getting cable when my college town built out a network for it. Also because routers were incredibly expensive, using an old PC and setting up FreeBSD on it to serve as a router for the wireless access point.
Those jumps from 9600 to 14.4 and 28.8 were so great. No one was able to call my college dorm room because it was always being used for dial up.
