Exciting news: I have been appointed director of the Institute for Theology and Peace (ITHF) & the Centre for Ethical Education in the Armed Forces (zebis).

In the coming months, both institutions will merge into a new think tank—linking theology, ethics & security policy in fresh dialogue.

Delighted to receive a physical copy of my latest publication. In this new book on Just War Theory and Artificial Intelligence, Bernhard Koch and I argue about the morality of fully autonomous armed drones. We ground our argument in the Catholic tradition.

Fantastic conference on "Just War and Just Peace" organised by the Ludovica University of Public Service and Pázmány Peter Catholic University. A keynote by Card. Michael Czerny SJ as well as thought-provoking discussions. And all of that in stunningly beautiful Budapest.

I am delighted to have contributed a chapter on Pope Francis, in which I provide a balanced assessment of the Pope's attitude towards just war thinking. I do so by reflecting on his remarks on the war against Ukraine that have repeatedly caused controversy.
