“Arbeit mach Frei” by Enrico Lupi is the first-person account of survival by an Italian soldier who was sent to German labor camps after the Italian government capitulated to the Allies in World War II. Written in Italian in 1995, it was translated into English by Elena Wacker.

Reasoning: If there are no constraints on a President, then a moral person must occupy that position, not an amoral person. The SC may have unintentionally set the moral standard for a presidential candidate so high that they won’t be able to find a candidate in their own party. 2/3

If the SC’s conservatives say he can withhold funds even if it’s deemed illegal by lower courts because nothing a President does is illegal, the only way Republicans will be able to save themselves from responsibility for starving children will be to impeach Trump. 1/3
