If there’s chaos in the village, Aster is probably the one to blame. He’s quick to pick a fight with anyone who crosses his path- but at least things are never boring with him around!

There’s over 120 dishes that Haiyan can learn to cook- either by learning the recipes, or through repeated trial and error.

If that’s too much effort, you can always just… eat mushrooms off the ground instead?

Both Knox and Aster hail from Horologa, the heart of faith in Hloris. While Knox takes pride in that shared origin, Aster despises it- he’s among the crowd that finds Knox totally insufferable.

Kind, positive, and completely overbearing- Knox values community spirit above all else, and will drop everything at a moment’s notice to lend a helping hand to his fellow man… whether or not it was asked for.

A devout follower of the Ascended, Knox is a model believer in a village that uses its church as a storage shed. Even if no one around him shares in his ideals, Knox’s faith- and optimism- is unwavering.

When it comes to the title of ‘main character’, Haiyan would insist she’s the last person fit for that role. A jack-of-all-trades with no standout abilities, ‘unremarkable’ really would be the best word to describe her.

Of her neighbours, Haiyan’s particularly attached to Deanna- someone who’s been like an older sister to her ever since the two were children. She’s also good friends with Knox, as a fellow optimist in trying times.
