In the UK basic, entrenched law (“constitution”) must be made to clarify and guarantee that all power in the state which is a democracy belongs to and can be used by the people. SEE OUR COMMENT in prospect magazine

In Britain do we the people, citizens or subjects, have a clear, official right to democracy? Is there any law which guarantees that we may take part in deciding on public matters and voting to elect politicians?
