If your home was affected, you may qualify for the Private Sewer Repair Program. The program covers sewer line repairs at no cost for eligible homeowners. Landlords with eligible tenants can also receive assistance through a forgivable lien of up to five years.

On June 25, 2021, many Detroit homes were affected by flooding, and the city is still helping residents recover through HUD CDBG - Disaster Recovery grant funding.

This is how we preserve housing, protect neighborhoods, and keep Detroiters in their homes.

58 affordable homes preserved at Glynn Court with every resident able to stay in place and rents unchanged.

What makes this project special is that every resident was able to stay in their home while the building was upgraded and rents stayed the same.
