You'll like the 2nd Cat Miranda, "Fair Play," where you'll meet Tito. "Tito" is short for "chiquitito" which means "tiny" in English. Cat Miranda has a weird sense of humor. Tito is a sweetheart.

All funding to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting is being cut, which means cutting $ to Public Broadcasting System & National Public Radio. I just renewed my PBS membership so I could watch all the great shows on PBS Passport. I have several favorites.

I tried writing "steamy" romance & found it boring to write. Adding "sweet" romance as subplot in a mystery is more fun for me. I was amazed to read that of EVERY book published in the entire world on ALL subjects, 40% are romance. That's a lot!

2nd post: Warning! Cat Miranda & Iron Horse mysteries have romantic subplots, & Letty eventually (sort of). Why? Frankly, they sell better & since production costs are high I added the romantic subplots. All low key romance. You know, like "In the Slips." I mean Marco & Angela, not Gwenny & Charlie.

We're dealing with a lot of unhappy news these days. Try gardening. Gardens keep you grounded (no pun intended!)
Here are my Swiss chard seedlings destined for winter chicken-veggie stews. The other plant is Firebush (Hamelia patents)which is a favorite of hummingbirds and butterflies.
