Residents conserving water or whose wells are dry can now use the showers at the Cavanagh Sensplex (5670 Carp Road) during opening hours. Because it's on a well, it's open for showering only, so water containers cannot be filled at this location. More details here: www.clarkekelly.ca/post/council...

I was pleased to be able to attend the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 616 West Carleton Halloween Seniors’ Social this past Thursday. It was great to visit with everyone, and special thanks to Julie and Sherry for managing this fun community event.
I enjoyed my rummaging on Sunday at the Galetta Rummage Sale. I’m sure I missed out some awesome stuff on Saturday, but did well on half-price Sunday. Where else can you get 6 eyeballs for less than 50 cents! Thanks to the Galetta Community Association for making this wonderful annual event happen!
There are a couple of City outdoor rinks in need of an operator this winter. March Central Community Center (Boarded Rink) and Doug Rivington Park (Puddle Rink) are both in need of a contract holder.
